Kings vs. Grizzlies Prediction: Memphis Likely to Win, but Pass at -455
Analysis updated October 31, 2026 at 2:33 AM CDT
The Kings have four confirmed absences, including Keegan Murray, while three Memphis players are day-to-day. That favors the Grizzlies without making their -455 moneyline attractive.
Memphis has the stronger case to win
Hoops Menu, a game and player availability site, lists Memphis at 5-0 and Sacramento at 0-5 entering Saturday's game at FedExForum. The Kings are also playing the third game of a four-game road trip, while the Grizzlies are opening a four-game homestand. Both teams have one day of rest, so neither has a clear scheduling advantage.
Sacramento has ruled out Keegan Murray, Ben Simmons, Dylan Cardwell and Maxime Raynaud. Memphis lists Ty Jerome, Quinten Post and Scotty Pippen Jr. as day-to-day. Those absences and the teams' opposite starts make Memphis the likely winner, but the unresolved Grizzlies availability limits the case for laying 10.5 points.
The price is too steep
SPF lists Memphis at -455 on the moneyline and -10.5 against the spread, with Sacramento at +350 and +10.5. The available evidence supports Memphis to win, but it doesn't show enough about either team's performance to justify the favorite's price or the double-digit spread.
Fade the Public Analytics, which aggregates publicly reported sportsbook betting splits, shows Memphis receiving 89% of moneyline bets and 86% of moneyline money. Memphis also has 73% of spread bets, while Sacramento has 85% of spread money. The source doesn't identify the underlying sportsbooks, so those splits aren't strong enough to create a wager. There also isn't pace, efficiency or scoring evidence to support either side of the 233.5 total. The betting lean is Pass.
