Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen's unbeaten mark against Kentucky could be in jeopardy. The Bulldogs (2-4, 1-2 Southeastern Conference) are 7-0 against the Wildcats under Mullen but have struggled this year after the departure of quarterback Dak Prescott to the NFL. Mississippi State has lost three of its past four, making Saturday night's game at Kentucky (3-3, 2-2 SEC) a must-win if the Bulldogs hope to extend their run of consecutive bowl appearances to seven. Needing a spark to slow Vanderbilt's momentum after scoring 10 straight points, the Wildcats turned to their ground game led by Benny Snell Jr. (20 carries, 94 yards) and Jojo Kemp with just under 8 minutes remaining. The duo positioned Kentucky to cash in a third and final time on fourth down as Johnson stretched for 1 yard to the Commodores' 19. Continue to Article

Rashaan Evans reached around Kentucky quarterback Stephen Johnson and ripped the ball from his grasp. Alabama safety Ronnie Harrison scooped it up, juked one offensive player-turned-defender and raced 55 yards for yet another defensive touchdown for the top-ranked Crimson Tide, which then took control in Saturday night's 34-6 win. Big plays have become Alabama's calling card on special teams and defense. Continue to Article
