California Golden Bears
The last time Oregon traveled south to play California, the teams wound up scoring a combined 100 points. Two years later, it's hard to imagine the scoreboard getting much less of a workout when the defense-challenged Ducks (2-4, 0-3 Pac-12) and Bears (3-3, 1-2) meet Friday night. If Washington can run the table, win its first conference title since 2000 and go 13-0, it would be a virtual lock for one of the four spots in the playoff. Continue to Article

The change in position for Oregon State quarterback Seth Collins seemed inevitable at the end of last season, when he was used in several roles in the finale against Oregon. The writing was on the wall: Utah State transfer Darell Garretson would be eligible to play this season, and it looked like that was where the Beavers were leaning at quarterback. Collins decided to leave Oregon State and go somewhere where he could play at quarterback - but he never actually left school. Continue to Article
