Cooper Rush threw six touchdown passes and Central Michigan pulled away in the second half to beat UNLV 44-21 on Saturday. The Chippewas (3-0) are off to their best start since 2002, and showed no signs of a letdown after stunning 22nd-ranked Oklahoma State last week. Last year, Oklahoma State played a bunch of games decided in the final minutes and managed to win most of them. This year, the Cowboys were not so fortunate in their first close contest, and it dealt a blow to their playoff hopes. Mason Rudolph was called for intentional grounding on the Cowboys' last offensive play Saturday, a penalty that should have been the final play of an Oklahoma State victory. Continue to Article
