Minnesota is 3-0 behind one of the NFL’s best defenses, but its limited passing game and missing playmakers make the SPF prices difficult to back against 0-3 Miami.
Minnesota’s defense sets the matchup
The Miami Dolphins report that Minnesota allows 13.7 points per game, second fewest in the NFL, and ranks second with six takeaways. That defense gives the 3-0 Vikings a clear advantage over an 0-3 Miami team and makes Minnesota the likely winner.
Covering 10 points is a different question. Minnesota ranks last in passing offense at 137 yards per game, wide receiver Justin Jefferson has been ruled out, and running back Jordan Mason is on injured reserve. Those absences reduce the appeal of laying a large number, especially with the Vikings priced at -520 on the moneyline.
