Pacers vs. Nets Prediction: Rest Edge Favors Indiana, but Pass at -265
Analysis updated October 25, 2026 at 1:27 AM CDT
Brooklyn is playing its second game in as many nights after losing in Cleveland. Indiana is the likely winner, but neither Pacers price offers a worthwhile bet.
Brooklyn faces a quick turnaround
Indiana visits Brooklyn at 6:00 PM ET on Sunday with the Pacers favored by 6.5 points. The Nets played in Cleveland on Saturday night, so the scheduling edge supports Indiana's status as the road favorite.
Brooklyn lost 125-121 in Cleveland despite 28 points from Michael Porter Jr., 23 from Julius Randle, and 22 from Egor Demin, according to CBS News New York / Associated Press. The Nets shot 40.2% from the field, and relying on another high-scoring night from that trio is riskier without a day of rest.
Availability and the betting decision
Indiana Pacers / NBA.com lists Tyrese Haliburton, Andrew Nembhard, Jarace Walker, Pascal Siakam, and Ivica Zubac as Indiana's probable starters. Haliburton had 18 points, six rebounds, and seven assists in Friday's loss to Dallas, while Siakam scored 23. That rested starting group gives Indiana the stronger setup for Sunday's game.
The Pacers will be without Johnny Furphy, T.J. McConnell, and Ben Sheppard. Brooklyn has ruled out Tyler Bilodeau, and NetsDaily reports that Mikel Brown Jr. won't play because of his minutes restriction. Indiana should win, but its absences and limited early-season evidence make the -265 moneyline too expensive. A 6.5-point spread also asks for more than a straight-up victory, so the betting lean is Pass.
