Uncertain rotations weaken Minnesota's prices
Minnesota is a -166 moneyline favorite and lays 4.5 points against Indiana. The Timberwolves opened the preseason Monday with a 116-97 win over Milwaukee, but Yahoo Sports / Indianapolis Star reported that their starters played only the first half. That limited workload makes it hard to assume Minnesota's main players will get enough minutes to justify either price.
Indiana faces similar uncertainty in its preseason opener. Rick Carlisle declined to say how much Tyrese Haliburton or the other Pacers starters would play, according to Yahoo Sports / Indianapolis Star.
