Brad Hand gave up a wind-blown leadoff double in the bottom of the ninth to Bryon Buxton and loaded the bases via a pair of two-out walks to Nelson Cruz and Eddie Rosario before he closed out his first save by inducing C.J. Cron to fly out to right. The teams combined for just six hits -- Ramirez was the only player with multiple hits -- in a pitcher's duel that featured one-hit efforts by starters Trevor Bauer and Jake Odorizzi. ''If my name's up in the lineup, then I'm going to play,'' said Stamets, who went 2 for 4 and is hitting .250 with one spring training game left. Continue to Article

Walker Buehler had good command of his pitches and plenty of life on his fastball in his long-awaited Cactus League debut Tuesday night. Ever the critic, though, the Los Angeles Dodgers' right-hander still found a few flaws. ''A little erratic, a little all over the place, but that's what these games are for,'' said Buehler, who consistently reached 97-98 mph against the Cleveland Indians. Continue to Article
