Chicago White Sox catcher Welington Castillo was recalled from his injury rehabilitation assignment at Class AAA Charlotte and reinstated from the 10-day injured list for Tuesday's game against the Kansas City Royals. In his second season in Chicago, Castillo, 32, landed on the injured list on June 18 (retroactive to June 17) with a strained left oblique. Jakob Junis struck out a career-high 10 batters over seven innings and the Kansas City Royals defeated the visiting Chicago White Sox 5-2 in the opener of their four-game series on Monday night.
