Jose Ramirez had two hits and two RBIs, including the game-winning double in the eighth inning, and closer Cody Allen struggled but got the win as the host Cleveland Indians came from behind to beat the Texas Rangers 7-5 on Monday at Progressive Field in the opener of a three-game series. Allen (2-0) entered with one out in the eighth with Cleveland down 4-3 and got the final two outs of the inning. The bull that injured Texas Rangers pitcher Martin Pérez is back at it. Pérez is still having complications from his surgically repaired elbow. The Texas Rangers placed Martin Perez on the disabled list Monday as the left-hander continues to experience issues with his surgically repaired non-throwing elbow. The move comes one day after Perez served up three homers and allowed four runs in four innings in a loss to the Toronto Blue Jays.
