Editor’s update: Ian Rapoport is reporting that Brown is indeed expected to play, but is not at 100 percent. Rapoport tweeted to “[f]igure he’ll be on a pitch count until he’s back to himself.” He has a solid matchup against an up and down 49ers defense, but is not a great start for this first week back. Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians says starting left guard Mike Iupati will have to undergo surgery to remove a bone spur in his triceps area and is expected to be sidelined at least eight weeks. Arians also says defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche will miss Sunday's game with San Francisco after reinjuring a calf in practice on Thursday.
