Four Spurs starters expected back

Yahoo Sports (story by San Antonio Express-News) reports that Victor Wembanyama, Stephon Castle, Dylan Harper and Devin Vassell are expected to return after sitting out San Antonio's Oct. 12 preseason loss at Utah under a medical-staff plan. Those expected returns support San Antonio's position as a 7.5-point home favorite over Phoenix.

De'Aaron Fox is questionable with a hip issue, and Carter Bryant is questionable with an ankle issue. Tobias Harris is out for the preseason with a left calf strain, while Jayden Quaintance remains out indefinitely as he recovers from offseason knee surgery. That uncertainty makes it harder to judge how long San Antonio's main players will share the court.
