If you like to pay up for stars, there will be no shortage of them with the Bucks, Rockets, Timberwolves and Mavericks all in action. Clint Capela (concussion) and Eric Gordon (knee) have already been ruled out and Russell Westbrook is expected to sit for what is the second game of a back-to-back set for the Rockets. To top it off, both the Rockets and the Timberwolves are ranked inside the top four in the league in pace of play. Continue to Article

Bradley Beal scored 44 points and Moritz Wagner finished with a career-high 30 points and 15 rebounds as the Washington Wizards recorded a 137-116 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday in Minneapolis. Beal, who had 44 points in Washington's 140-133 loss at Boston on Wednesday, shot 15 of 22 and made 13 of 14 from the foul line to help the Wizards avenge a 131-109 loss to Minnesota on Nov. 2. Paul George made his long-awaited debut but the Los Angeles Clippers were upstaged 132-127 by the New Orleans Pelicans in NBA action on Thursday. George played his first game for the Clippers since arriving from the Oklahoma City Thunder to team up with Kawhi Leonard in Los Angeles – a pair of shoulder operations delaying the six-time All-Star's bow. The Clippers recruit scored 33 points in 24 minutes, however, he had the ball stolen away by Jrue Holiday three times in the final minutes as the Pelicans spoiled his debut. Continue to Article

Kelly Oubre Jr. scored a season-high 30 points and grabbed seven rebounds, and the host Phoenix Suns pulled away from the Atlanta Hawks for a 128-112 victory on Thursday. Phoenix guard Devin Booker added 27 points and seven assists. Dario Saric had a season-high 23 points and pulled down six rebounds, and Frank Kaminsky tied a season high with 19 points and had six rebounds off the bench for the Suns, who made 15 3-pointers to extend their franchise-record streak to nine games with at least 11 threes.
