Bradley Beal scored 44 points and Moritz Wagner finished with a career-high 30 points and 15 rebounds as the Washington Wizards recorded a 137-116 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday in Minneapolis. Beal, who had 44 points in Washington's 140-133 loss at Boston on Wednesday, shot 15 of 22 and made 13 of 14 from the foul line to help the Wizards avenge a 131-109 loss to Minnesota on Nov. 2. The Philadelphia Eagles signed Super Bowl-winning running back Jay Ajayi on Friday. Ajayi last played in the NFL in Week 5 of the 2018 season, when he tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the Eagles' loss to the Minnesota Vikings. While he's only been back at practice for two days, Lock has impressed both coach Vic Fangio and linebacker Von Miller. Continue to Article

Dalvin Cook and the Minnesota Vikings made the turn into the second half of the 2019 season in position to check off a lot of goals on their preseason to-do list. At 7-3, the Vikings have the NFL's leading rusher and are second in the NFC North with plenty of time to push the Green Bay Packers for the division crown behind a defense with as much bite as it has bark. Cook leads the NFL in rushing with 991 yards -- including six 100-yard games -- and is second in the league with 10 rushing touchdowns behind Green Bay's Aaron Jones (11) and Carolina's Christian McCaffrey (11). Tackling Dalvin Cook has been a challenge this season. The Minnesota Vikings running back has vaulted to the top of the league's rushing list while leaving behind a trail of defenders who have either bounced off his 5-foot-10, 210-pound frame or simply been left in his wake. How has Cook has made so many defenders miss? Continue to Article
