Calgary Flames defenseman T.J. Brodie collapsed at practice on Thursday and was taken to a hospital for evaluation. Multiple reports noted that Brodie was standing alone when he fell to the ice and apparently had a seizure. Calgary Flames practice came to a halt Thursday when defenceman T.J. Brodie collapsed on the ice after an apparent seizure. Brodie was taken off on a stretcher and transported to hospital. Joe Pavelski scored twice, and Justin Dowling notched his first NHL goal to lead the visiting Dallas Stars to a 3-1 victory over the Calgary Flames on Wednesday night. Ben Bishop stopped 24 shots to net the win for the Stars, who are on an 8-1-1 run that has pushed them up the standings.
