Omar Narvaez hit a controversial home run with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Seattle Mariners defeated the visiting Chicago White Sox 2-1 Saturday night. Narvaez hit his blast to right-center field off White Sox right-hander Alex Colome (4-4), the player for whom Narvaez was traded in the offseason. Yoan Moncada went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple and four RBIs as the Chicago White Sox defeated the host Seattle Mariners 9-7 Friday night in the opener of a three-game series. Rendon also doubled, walked twice and scored two runs, and Asdrubal Cabrera tripled and drove in two runs for Washington (81-64), which extended its lead for the first wild card in the National League to 3 1/2 games over the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers.
