The Seattle Mariners activated right-hander Sam Tuivailala from the 60-day injured list now that he is finally recovered after nearly a year away because of a torn right Achilles. Tuivailala, 26, pitched in five games for the Mariners last season after he was acquired in a late-July trade from the St. Louis Cardinals and posted a 1.69 ERA.
