The Twins had a flash sale of $5 tickets that included the rest of the team's home games in May. Domingo German kept delivering on a wet, raw afternoon, tying for the major league lead with his sixth win as the New York Yankees stopped the Minnesota Twins 4-1 Sunday in a game called in the bottom of the eighth inning because of rain. After being humiliated by the Kansas City Royals a day earlier, the Detroit Tigers were focused on redemption Sunday. Journeyman Brandon Dixon, only in the majors due to a series of injuries, hit a three-run homer in the 10th inning to lift the Tigers over the Royals 5-2. James Paxton became the latest New York Yankees player to get hurt, leaving his start against the Minnesota Twins after three innings because of soreness in his left knee.
