The Los Angeles Angels acquired infielder Ryan Schimpf from the Atlanta Braves in exchange for catcher Carlos Perez. Angels second baseman Ian Kinsler was placed on the 10-day disabled list Saturday with a groin strain while the Braves placed catcher Tyler Flowers on the disabled list Friday with a left oblique strain and saw Kurt Suzuki suffer a bruised right hand in Friday night's game.
