Adam Thielen stepped up big for the Minnesota Vikings while top receiver Stefon Diggs was sidelined with a groin injury in Week 6. Thielen caught nine passes for 97 yards in the win over the Green Bay Packers Sunday. He was targeted a season-high 13 times in the contest. Thielen leads the Vikings with 53 targets, 38 receptions, and 489 yards receiving, but he does not have a touchdown this season. Sunday, the Vikings host a stingy Baltimore Ravens secondary. The Ravens have the ninth-ranked passing defense, and they have nine interceptions, a tie for second best in the NFL. Fantasy impact: Thielen would be a top receiver if he could score. The Minnesota Vikings have ruled out Stefon Diggs vs. the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7. It’s another tough break for Diggs, who suffered a groin injury in a Week 5 win over the Chicago Bears and has been held out ever since. He was putting up great numbers before the setback. In essentially four games this season, Diggs has caught 23 balls for 395 yards and four touchdowns. He’s also been producing with two different quarterback, as Case Keenum has been filling in for the injured Sam Bradford. The hope is this isn’t the kind of groin injury that will linger with Diggs throughout the season, but seeing him miss a second straight game is not a good sign.
