As Hurricane Harvey approaches Texas, the Houston Texans and Houston Astros are among the teams pondering their options, as the storm is expected to make landfall and then stall along the coastline heading into next week. As Hurricane Harvey bears down on the Texas coast, sports teams in Houston and beyond are making contingency plans for how to deal with the storm and its aftermath. The Texans, Astros and Rangers are all on the road this weekend, so they won't have to reschedule any games in the short term, but their travel plans figure to be affected if the forecast of a potential 15 inches of rain in Houston holds up. HOUSTON — A subplot to Friday night’s game at Minute Maid Park is one that will likely repeat itself often over the next few years. The A’s and Astros boast two of the better young third basemen in the American League in Matt Chapman and Alex Bregman. Both are under 25, excellent with the glove and sure to face each other plenty as AL West opponents.
