In the wake of the Mets trading first baseman Lucas Duda, the team will not promote their No. 2 prospect, Dominic Smith, during the team's three-game series in Seattle this weekend, SNY contributor Adam Rubin said on Twitter. Neil Walker and OF Brandon Nimmo are expected to join the Mets on Friday for the start of their series against the Mariners in Seattle, according to SNY contributor Adam Rubin. Walker has been on the disabled list June 15 with a torn hamstring.
