Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera, a four-time Major League Baseball batting champion and two-time Most Valuable Player, went onto the 10-day disabled list Saturday with a strained groin. The 34-year-old Venezuelan, an 11-time All-Star, sustained the injury diving for a ground ball from Minnesota's Robbie Grossman, which became a two-run single in a six-run sixth inning as the Twins beat Detroit 6-3, leaving the Tigers 8-8 this year.
