Boston Red Sox
Boston Red Sox rookie Andrew Benintendi has already announced his presence in the big leagues, hitting .322 in 18 games since his call-up from Double-A. But his everybody-look-at-me moment came Monday night in the Red Sox’s game against the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field. Benintendi — a 22-year-old drafted in the first round in 2015 — made one of the best catches you’ll see this season, which also happens to be the best play he’s made so far in his young MLB career. Price (12-8) walked two, struck out eight and didn't allow a runner past first base in helping the Red Sox win for the ninth time in 11 games and nudge into in a tie for first place in the AL East with Toronto. Boston Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox finish the season with 22 of their remaining 38 games on the road, but nights like Monday's 6-2 win over the Tampa Bay Rays -- giving the Red Sox the second-best road record in the American League at 32-27 -- provides them with confidence down the stretch. "We've embraced it," Red Sox manager John Farrell said. Boston's Clay Buchholz has a career 2.63 ERA in 20 starts against the Rays, second best of any pitcher with 10 or more starts.
