Mariners 3, Tigers 0 Right-hander Hisashi Iwakuma outdueled rookie Michael Fulmer to lead Seattle to a shutout win over Detroit. Iwakuma (13-7) threw seven scoreless innings, allowing just five hits, before new Mariners reliever Arquimedes Caminero and rookie closer Edwin Diaz finished off the win. Yadier Molina started and ended a five-run rally in the ninth inning as the St. Louis Cardinals stunned the Cincinnati Reds 5-4 on Monday night. Molina singled to start the inning and was hit by a pitch from Ross Ohlendorf with the bases loaded to drive home the winning run.
