Welcome to The Walk Off, the nightly MLB recap from Big League Stew. Here we'll look at the top performers of the night, show you a must-see highlight and rundown the scoreboard. First, we start with a game you need to know about.   After pulling off two one-run victories to open the series, history and logic did not favor the St. Louis Cardinals completing the three-game series sweep on Wednesday afternoon in Chicago. Baltimore Orioles reliever Brian Duensing has learned the hard way that there's a  price to be paid for getting too comfortable. According to Dan Connolly of BaltimoreBaseball.com, the veteran left-hander will be sidelined the next four to eight weeks after injuring his pitching elbow while performing the seemingly simple task of adjusting his bullpen chair during Monday's game in Texas. Duensing said freak injury adjusting In his chair in bullpen in Texas and felt soreness in elbow. Had it checked out. And found it inflamed — Dan Connolly (@danconnolly2016) June 22, 2016 As a result of the freak incident, Duensing will undergo surgery on Friday to remove loose cartilage chips in his left elbow.
