New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi refuses to think about what might happen if Michael Pineda struggles again at Comerica Park. With his spot in the rotation possibly at stake, Pineda will try to help the Yankees avoid their fourth consecutive defeat Thursday night against the Detroit Tigers in the makeup of a postponed contest from early April. The Los Angeles Angels had all the power one night. A day after the Angels scored 11 runs on 17 hits, rookie right-hander Michael Fulmer took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and completed 7 2/3 dominant innings to lift the Detroit Tigers over Los Angeles 3-0 on Wednesday.
