The Boston Marathon bombings devastated the city of Boston, and the nation, three years ago. Shortly after the attack, the Boston Red Sox played a big role in rallying the citizens of the city and the survivors of the attack.  [ Join a Yahoo Daily Fantasy Baseball contest now ] That continued Monday, as the team hosted its annual Patriots' Day game. Jeff Bauman, a survivor of the bombings, threw out the first pitch prior to the game. He was accompanied by actor Jake Gyllenhaal, who is playing Bauman in an upcoming movie.  Bauman lost both his legs in the bombings while standing near the finish line cheering on his girlfriend in 2013. Following surgery, Bauman worked with the FBI to identify the suspects.  Continue to Article
