The St. Louis Cardinals and the owner of radio station KMOX-AM said Friday that Cardinals games will continue to air on the station through the 2024 season as part of a five-year extension to their radio rights agreement. With the extension, KMOX, owned by Entercom Communications Corp., will remain the Cardinals flagship station and broadcast all regular season games, postseason matchups and spring training contests. Former major league catcher and first baseman Mike Napoli will join the Chicago Cubs' coaching staff, according to multiple reports Thursday. Napoli, who hit 267 home runs over 12 seasons with the Los Angeles Angels, Texas Rangers, Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians, will become the Cubs' quality assurance coach under new manager David Ross, according to The Athletic.
