The black hole that is the Chicago Bears' offense isn't done claiming victims. Tight end Trey Burton will now miss the remainder of the season after being place on injured reserve with damage to his calf and groin. Burton was a focal point of the Bears' offense that won the NFC North last season. Continue to Article

The Bears will be without tight ends Trey Burton and Adam Shaheen against the Los Angeles Rams, and running back David Montgomery will be a gametime decision prior to Sunday night's contest in California. Burton missed all three of the Bears' practices this week with a calf injury suffered at the end of the Bears' win over the Detroit Lions last week, while Shaheen popped up on the injury report with a foot issue and missed both Thursday and Friday's practices. According to NFL Pick Watch, 86 percent of experts polled are taking the also-underachieving Rams in Week 11. It'll be a strange and twisted battle between two first-round quarterbacks - Jared Goff and Mitch Trubisky - who will compete for the right to be called less of a bust by the end of the game. Chicago
It kept the Bears' playoff hopes alive. Outside of Halas Hall, fans and observers of this team don't have to subscribe to this theory, but inside the building, the Bears are looking at this trip to Los Angeles as something bigger than just a chance to shine on Sunday Night Football. For the Bears, this is an opportunity to stay relevant and in the playoff race. Continue to Article
