Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James on Friday said he is a long way from hanging up his high tops and likened himself to veteran New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who is still going strong at age 42. Asked by reporters whether retirement had crossed his mind, the 34-year-old James shook his head. The news was met with social media enthusiasm in NBA circles, most notably from his fellow banana boat crew members LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. So far there's no word from Chris Paul. Dallas
The last time Kristaps Porzingis laced up his sneakers in Madison Square Garden, he represented the New York Knicks' best hope for the future. More than a season later, Porzingis made his first appearance at MSG as a member of the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night. Knicks fans lustily booed the Mavericks big man during pregame introductions. Continue to Article
