Again, Buffalo seems to be the obvious candidate to drop out in the East, but that still leaves seven teams vying for what's probably five playoff spots. Calgary Flames defenseman T.J. Brodie collapsed at practice on Thursday and was taken to a hospital for evaluation. Multiple reports noted that Brodie was standing alone when he fell to the ice and apparently had a seizure. Emergency medical personnel tended to Brodie, who was removed via stretcher from the ice at Scotiabank Saddledome and placed in an ambulance. Continue to Article

Calgary Flames practice came to a halt Thursday when defenceman T.J. Brodie collapsed on the ice after an apparent seizure. Brodie was taken off on a stretcher and transported to hospital.
