Cleveland
Former Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Todd Haley pointed the finger at the team's current head coach Freddie Kitchens for the late-game melee that marred Thursday's contest. Haley told SiriusXM Radio on Friday that Kitchens' leadership is to blame following an ugly incident in which Browns defensive end Myles Garrett was suspended indefinitely without pay after he ripped the helmet off Mason Rudolph before hitting the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback in the head with it. Despite some outside calls to do so, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph is not planning to take any legal action against Browns defensive end Myles Garrett after their ugly fight on Thursday night at FirstEnergy Stadium, according to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The Browns waived Callaway on Thursday, four days after he was benched, and shortly before NFL Network reported his suspension. Continue to Article

Cleveland
Garrett, who Cleveland took first overall in the 2017 NFL draft, will miss the rest of the regular season and any playoff games and must meet with the commissioner's office before a decision on his reinstatement will be taken. Cleveland has six regular season games remaining, meaning that Garrett's punishment is the longest suspension handed out by the NFL for a single on-the-field act. Garrett, one of the league's top defensive players, was ejected in the closing seconds of Thursday's game in Cleveland after he ripped the helmet off Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph and then struck him in the head with it.
