Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Jameson Taillon is tentatively expected to undergo surgery to repair his elbow flexor tendon in the next few weeks, according to The Athletic. The Pirates placed Taillon on the injured list in early May for what was described as a right elbow flexor strain. Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Corey Dickerson apparently didn't stick around after grounding out to end the fifth inning in Cincinnati on Wednesday. The Pirates agreed to trade the 30-year-old Dickerson to the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday afternoon, ESPN's Jeff Passan reported.
