Max Muncy walked with the bases loaded in the top of the 12th inning for the game-winning run as the Los Angeles Dodgers topped the host Boston Red Sox 7-4 on Sunday night. Los Angeles loaded the bases on a walk, catcher's interference call and single before Muncy took ball four on the fifth pitch he saw from Hector Velazquez (1-4). An Alex Verdugo RBI single added further insurance, and Russell Martin beat out a grounder to avoid a double play for a three-run cushion. Continue to Article

The MLB trade deadline can be an exciting time for baseball fans, but it can also bring uncertainty for fantasy players. The uncertain nature of the deadline makes it almost impossible to predict – even if we feel good about the idea that Will Smith will be dealt before August, we don't know his landing spot and whether that team is in need of a bonfide closer, like the Braves, or if they're all set in the ninth and just need a good setup man, like the Dodgers – but while we don't know everything, we do have some information that can get us started in a conversation about who will be on the move at the deadline. Justin Turner and Max Muncy each homered and had three hits, while Cody Bellinger added a solo shot and two RBIs on his 24th birthday, as the Los Angeles Dodgers pummeled the host Boston Red Sox 11-2 on Saturday night. A.J. Pollock also went deep as the Dodgers ended their losing streak at four games. Ross Stripling (4-3) got the win, giving up one run on four hits and striking out seven in five innings. Following is a summary of current sports news briefs. It was another day, another 62 on the PGA Tour as Jhonattan Vegas became the latest player to post the score en route to a one-stroke lead after the second round of the John Deere Classic on Friday. Rewarding as it was for Rafael Nadal to become the only player to win the same Grand Slam 12 times by chalking up his dozen at last month's French Open, the Spaniard arrived at Wimbledon this year like a man on a mission. In their first home game since teammate Tyler Skaggs' recent death, Taylor Cole and Felix Pena teamed for the 13th combined no-hitter in major league history as the Los Angeles Angels earned a 13-0 victory over the Seattle Mariners Friday night in Anaheim, Calif. Every Angels player wore No. 45 with the name Skaggs on the back of their jerseys, in honor of their former teammate, who passed away July 1. The Angels honored Skaggs before the game and his mother, Debbie, threw out the ceremonial first pitch -- a perfect strike caught by Skaggs' best friend on the Angels, Andrew Heaney.
