Mike Soroka earned the win by tossing 6 1/3 strong innings Friday night, and the Atlanta Braves never trailed after fellow rookie Austin Riley launched a two-run homer in the second inning as they defeated the host New York Mets 6-2. Seaver wore No. 41 during his career, of course. The club also announced plans to build a statue of Seaver in front of the ballpark. Continue to Article
