Capitals and Blue Jackets meet for first time after bird taunt originally appeared on nbcsportswashington.com The last time the Capitals and Columbus Blue Jackets met, Columbus earned a big overtime win on Washington's home ice on Jan. 12. That loss would be the first of what would turn into a seven-game losing streak for the Caps. But the defeat did not turn out to be the most newsworthy event of the night. Continue to Article

The Columbus Blue Jackets and the Washington Capitals are playing better hockey of late, and both hope to continue that trend when they meet in Ohio's capital on Tuesday night. Plenty of questions left to be answered, but for now the only news is that Panarin has decided to switch agents, as first reported by NHL Network's Kevin Weekes, from Dan Milstein of Gold Star Hockey to Paul Theofanous of TMI, LLC. Panarin switched to Milstein in Jan. 2017 citing a need to have representation that can communicate in Russian. Continue to Article

Columbus
The Columbus Blue Jackets got early production from their fourth line, then turned to that unit again in the third period for big minutes. Boone Jenner and Josh Anderson each tallied a goal and an assist, and David Savard and fourth-line forward Lukas Sedlak also scored for Columbus in a 4-2 victory over the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday night. Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 29 shots as the Blue Jackets won their second straight after a five-game losing streak. Continue to Article
