Evan Fournier hit two big 3-pointers in the final 2 1/2 minutes as part of his 26-point night to lead a balanced Orlando attack and pace the Magic to a 111-109 win over the visiting San Antonio Spurs on Friday to win their second straight game and third in their past four outings. The Spurs led by as many as 16 points in the first half but Orlando came back and turned the game into a back-and-forth contest. Things were tied at 104 after a DeMar DeRozan layup with 1:32 to play before Fournier poured in his second big 3-pointer to give the Magic a lead it would not relinquish. Continue to Article

Marcus Morris sank a clutch three pointer with 13 seconds left to lift the New York Knicks to a 106-103 win over Kristaps Porzingis and the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward said he considers it “relatively good news” that his latest injury is only expected to keep him out for six weeks, even though it struck just as he was returning to form from the broken leg that cost him almost a full season. “It's a drop in the bucket, for sure,” Hayward said on Wednesday night before watching Boston's game against the Washington Wizards from the bench in street clothes. Hayward broke his hand when he collided with LaMarcus Aldridge in Saturday night's game against the San Antonio Spurs. Continue to Article

French NBA star guard Tony Parker was given an emotional tribute Monday by the San Antonio Spurs, who retired his number nine jersey in a post-game ceremony after a loss. Parker won four NBA titles in 17 seasons with the Spurs, joining the club in 2001 and becoming a starter as a 19-year-old European newcomer after only four games. Parker helped spark the Spurs to NBA crowns in 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2014 and was named the 2007 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player when he averaged 24.5 points a game in San Antonio's sweep of Cleveland in the best-of-seven final.
