Bradley Beal scored 44 points and Moritz Wagner finished with a career-high 30 points and 15 rebounds as the Washington Wizards recorded a 137-116 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday in Minneapolis. Beal, who had 44 points in Washington's 140-133 loss at Boston on Wednesday, shot 15 of 22 and made 13 of 14 from the foul line to help the Wizards avenge a 131-109 loss to Minnesota on Nov. 2. The Philadelphia Eagles signed Super Bowl-winning running back Jay Ajayi on Friday. Ajayi last played in the NFL in Week 5 of the 2018 season, when he tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the Eagles' loss to the Minnesota Vikings. The 26-year-old has returned to Philadelphia, who confirmed his signing as Darren Sproles (hip) was placed on the injured reserve after being ruled out for the rest of the season. The Bears will be without tight ends Trey Burton and Adam Shaheen against the Los Angeles Rams, and running back David Montgomery will be a gametime decision prior to Sunday night's contest in California. Burton missed all three of the Bears' practices this week with a calf injury suffered at the end of the Bears' win over the Detroit Lions last week, while Shaheen popped up on the injury report with a foot issue and missed both Thursday and Friday's practices. If the Chicago Bears' 100th season is going to include a playoff berth and run at a Super Bowl, as many predicted it would in the preseason, they'll need to even up their record to 5-5 Sunday night against the Rams in Los Angeles. According to NFL Pick Watch, 86 percent of experts polled are taking the also-underachieving Rams in Week 11. It'll be a strange and twisted battle between two first-round quarterbacks - Jared Goff and Mitch Trubisky - who will compete for the right to be called less of a bust by the end of the game.
