New Jersey Devils forward Taylor Hall is being proactive about his next contract, playing on the final year of his current deal. Hall, scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, told reporters that his agent, Darren Ferris, will meet with Devils general manager Ray Shero on the team's road trip this week. "I know they're supposed to meet but I'm not sure when it will exactly happen," Hall said Monday via NHL.com's Mike. Continue to Article

Mascots are already known for their tricks, but NJ Devil of the New Jersey Devils is certainly one of the most infamous in the NHL. A large contingent of the Hughes family was on hand to watch the first NHL meeting between Jack and his older brother Quinn, a Canucks defenseman. Continue to Article

Jack Hughes was all smiles after scoring his first NHL goal. Jack Hughes officially has an NHL goal to his name – and one that he can chirp his brother Quinn about for the rest of his life. Facing Quinn's Vancouver Canucks on Saturday afternoon, the younger of the Hughes brothers corralled a beautiful cross-ice pass from Taylor Hall during a first-period power play and rifled the puck past Thatcher Demko.
