Indiana
While he hasn't logged more than 26 minutes in any of his first four games, he's still scored at least 20 points and grabbed at least five rebounds in back-to-back contests. He should start and play more minutes in this contest with Murray sitting out the second game of a back-to-back set, potentially making him one of the best bargains on the entire slate. Guard to Avoid Buddy Hield, SAC vs. UTA ($26): The majority of Hields' production comes in the scoring department, so when he's shooting 35.4 percent from the field like he is across the Kings' first five games, he's going to disappoint in DFS more often than not. Cleveland
Beilein picked up his first NBA win and got doused with water in the locker room by Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson and the rest of the Cavaliers, who played the kind of ball their rookie coach has been preaching for weeks in a 110-99 win over the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night. Thompson scored 25 points and made his first career 3-pointer and Love scored 21 and just missed a triple-double as the Cavs opened their 50th season at home with a solid win over a playoff team from last year. Following the game, Beilein presented with the game ball by general manager Koby Altman before he was ambushed by the Cavs, who jumped from their seats and dumped water bottles over his head. Cleveland
The Cavaliers have completed their four-year, $30.8 million contract extension for starting forward Cedi Osman. The sides reached an agreement Thursday and the team made it official Saturday, hours before Cleveland hosts the Indiana Pacers in its home opener and first game in remodeled Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse under first-year coach John Beilein. The Cavs view Osman as a future core player and wanted to lock him in financially. Continue to Article
