Reserve Bobby Portis hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:47 remaining and scored 11 of his season-high 28 points in the fourth quarter as the New York Knicks rebounded from a dismal showing in their home opener and rallied from 18 points down to beat the Chicago Bulls 105-98 Monday night. Portis gave the Knicks their first lead at 100-98 when he spotted up in the left corner opposite the New York bench and got a pass out of the low post from Julius Randle. Portis then hit another 3-pointer to give New York a 103-98 lead with 69 seconds left in front of the Knicks bench that led to the crowd loudly chanting his name. Continue to Article

The Knicks rallied behind Bobby Portis' first show out game in a blue and orange uniform, to come back from as much as 18 points down to beat the Bulls 105-98 for their first win of the season. 1) Down by as much as 17 in the third quarter, the Knicks came back to tie the game late in the fourth quarter behind some hot shooting from beyond the arc, which seemingly came out of nowhere after the team struggled from the perimeter through the first three quarters. And with its next release, Ewing Athletics is celebrating a defining memory of the '90s known affectionately by fans as “The Dunk. Team legend John Starks threw down a monster dunk over Chicago Bulls center Bill Cartwright during Game 2 of the 1993 NBA Eastern Conference Finals, a game the Knicks would win 96-91.
