Coming into this season, it was a pretty widely accepted notion that the Golden State Warriors wouldn't win another title in 2020. After losing Kevin Durant in free agency and Splash Brother Klay Thompson in the NBA Finals to an ACL tear, things were never going to be the same. This, of course, being two blowout losses to start the season, with the Warriors yet to even hold a lead thus far. Continue to Article

It's an easy trap to fall into at this time of year: Look at the early numbers in the NBA, extrapolate those over 82 games and envision the statistically improbable somehow becoming real. Atlanta's Trae Young is averaging 38.5 points per game right now which won't hold up over an entire season. The incident took place at the end of Phoenix's 108-107 overtime loss at Denver on Friday. Oubre scored 23 points on 7-of-12 shooting against the Nuggets but fouled out of the contest 23 seconds into over-time. Continue to Article

Devin Booker had 30 points and eight assists, and Frank Kaminsky had 18 points, eight rebounds and six assists off the bench as the host Phoenix Suns beat the Los Angeles Clippers 130-122 on Saturday to break a 12-game losing streak in the series. Kelly Oubre Jr. had 20 points and made all nine of his free-throw attempts, and Dario Saric had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Suns, who have split two games since center Deandre Ayton was suspended Thursday for 25 games for violating the NBA/NBPA anti-drug program. Kawhi Leonard had 27 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds, and Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams combined for 51 points off the bench for the Clippers, who were attempting to become the first team in the league to three victories.
