Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury made 29 saves against his former club Saturday as the visiting Vegas Golden Knights topped the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-0. Paul Stastny scored a power play goal, William Karlsson had a short-handed empty-netter and Mark Stone added a four-on-four empty-netter for Vegas, which has won four of its past five games. Major League Soccer is widely expected to award its latest expansion franchise to an investor group in Sacramento, California at a press conference on Monday. Sacramento Republic FC, a franchise that currently plays in the lower-tier United Soccer League, is set to join MLS as its 29th team. Darcy Kuemper made 21 saves for the Arizona Coyotes in a 5-2 win over the Nashville Predators in Phoenix on Thursday, becoming the first goalie in franchise history to allow two goals or fewer in 12 consecutive starts. Phil Kessel scored his first two goals with the Coyotes since his trade from the Pittsburgh Penguins in June, both on the power play. BRIGHTON, Mass. - The Bruins will continue the juggling act that's been going with David Krejci (upper body) for much of the early season as the top-6 pivot is out for tonight's important divisional game vs. the Tampa Bay Lightning. Krejci exited Monday's win over Anaheim after two shifts in the second period, and then left midway through Wednesday's practice ahead of the showdown with the Bolts. Krejci's absence obviously has a cascading effect among the rest of the forwards as Charlie Coyle will be bumped up to second-line center, and Par Lindholm will draw back into the lineup as the third-line center between Danton Heinen and Karson Kuhlman.
