Michael Frolik celebrated his 800th NHL game in fine fashion by scoring once amidst a memorable first couple of shifts as the host Calgary Flames beat the Philadelphia Flyers 3-1 on Tuesday. Flames goalie David Rittich made 21 saves to backstop his team to a victory that snapped a two-game losing skid. Goaltender Jacob Markstrom will be away from the Vancouver Canucks until later this week, general manager Jim Benning said on Monday. "Jacob Markstrom has been granted a leave of absence to attend to a family matter and is expected to rejoin the Canucks on the road this weekend.
