Stamkos' fourth goal of the season put Tampa Bay ahead 2-1 just 1:04 into the second period. With four assists in a single period against the Minnesota Wild, the defenceman matched a franchise record. Morgan Rielly collected four assists in the middle frame to match the @MapleLeafs franchise record for most in a regular-season period, a mark set by Rick Vaive on March 12, 1984. Rookie Sam Lafferty and Adam Johnson scored their first NHL goals and goalie Matt Murray earned his 100th career win Saturday as the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins downed the winless Minnesota Wild, 7-4.
