David Krejci made it through a few games without incident after a lower-body injury kept him out of the season opener, but had to leave Monday afternoon's matinee midway through the game with something that's assumed to be related to the same injury. Krejci exited the first period early and then made it through two more shifts in the second period before exiting entirely in Boston's 4-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks at TD Garden. There was no real update following the Bruins win, so it's unknown if the playmaking center is going to be able to suit up for Thursday night's big game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Artturi Lehkonen jammed in a rebound off his own shot to break a 3-3 tie as the Montreal Canadiens scored four consecutive goals to pull out a 6-3 victory over the visiting St. Louis Blues on Saturday night. Brendan Gallagher and Max Domi also scored third period goals for the Habs. Tomas Tatar, Jonathan Drouin and Domi each had a goal and an assist, Gallagher also had two assists for a three-point game, and Phillip Danault scored a goal for Montreal which snapped a two-game losing streak. Nikita Kucherov had two goals and two assists, Steven Stamkos had a goal and three assists, Brayden Point had two goals and an assist, and the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 7-3 on Thursday night. James Neal collected a natural hat trick in a span of less than nine minutes bridging the first and second periods and finished with a career-high four goals Tuesday night as the Edmonton Oilers cruised to a 5-2 win over the New York Islanders in Uniondale, N.Y. Zack Kassian also scored for the Oilers, who are 3-0-0 for the first time since the 2008-09 season. Goalie Mikko Koskinen made 25 saves in his season debut.
