James Neal collected a natural hat trick in a span of fewer than nine minutes bridging the first and second periods and finished with a career-high four goals Tuesday night as the visiting Edmonton Oilers cruised to a 5-2 win over the New York Islanders in Uniondale, N.Y. Mika Zibanejad recorded a hat trick just 32:07 into the game, and the New York Rangers spoiled the Ottawa Senators' home opener with a 4-1 victory on Saturday night. The ex-Senator Zibanejad, who had a goal with three assists in New York's season-opening 6-4 win over Winnipeg on Thursday, had goals of the power-play, even-strength and short-handed variety, the last with 7:53 left in the second period, and also added an assist.
