San Jose Sharks forward Evander Kane called his ejection for abuse of an official during Sunday night's preseason game "an absolute joke" and accused linesman Kiel Murchison of "jumping" him. More than midway through the third period, Kane got into a scuffle with Golden Knights defenseman Deryk Engelland, who held Kane's stick after a hit.
