The Toronto Maple Leafs have placed Nic Petan, Kenny Agostino, Kevin Gravel and Garrett Wilson on waivers with the purpose of being reassigned to the AHL's Toronto Marlies, the club announced Monday. Egor Korshkov, a 2016 second-round pick that impressed in camp, was sent to the Marlies, while Matt Read was released from his professional tryout agreement. BRIGHTON, Mass. - Bruins defenseman Torey Krug has battled slow starts to each of his last two seasons while using training camps and the preseason to help recover from late season injuries. Last season Krug played just one game in October, and didn't score his first goal for the season until December while recovering from a broken ankle.
